The goby looks more like the Bathygobius sp. found in the area. The
Ctenogobius schufeldti that we encounter,-in-least, are much more elongate
and look very much like a tesselated or johnny darter.

Hmmm... I'm not sure what _isn't_ goby about it?

I was looking-in-the TNHC list and looked-in-the freshwater goby,
Gobionellus
shufeldti, and that was lookin' pretty close. Seems to have the location
right too. What do you think?

Good point! It doesn't look like a goby/gudgeon/sleeper either. I don't
really know what else to suggest.
