Howdy gang... Just back and starting to recover from a brutal 7 days in =
the
SE US with my compadre, partner in crime, and NANFA member Jeff
Grabarkiewicz. We sampled some of NANFA's finest hospitality with Prez =
and
First Lady Ruth, El Snorkelmeister (and briefly with his un-informed =
wife :)
and with Ranger Bob and Betsy Culler. I think the interactions with all =
the
folks is what really made the trip (cause it sure wasn't the weather!), =
and I
thank you all again for your hospitality and conversation. It was a =
great
glimpse of NANFA for Jeff... I think he's going to beg, moan and crawl =
until
his wife lets him go to the Convention heehee.=20
=20
Oh yeah. We saw some awesome fish too! ;) We weren't able to get into =
the
habitat of some of the stuff we'd have liked to... but the "weather and =
water
gamble" paid dividens of color in Darterland. And, we had a pile of =
suprises
and great stories generated along the way. I plan on typing that all up =
over
the next couple weeks, and pairing up some of Jeff's fantastic =
photography
with it (he was more into it than I was this time around). For now... =
Here's
a few gleanings from my shots that I did take.
