Well, now that you prompted me to look, Robison and Buchanan, Fishes of
Arkansas, say early April in eastern ARkansas. I'd say it would be
about the same in southern Oklahoma, maybe a little later or earlier,
depending on where "eastern Arkansas" is. If NE, then maybe bowfin
would spawn in S. Oklahoma in late March. If SE Arkansas, then
probably Oklahoma would be a little later -- by a week or two. Didn't
find any Oklahoma spawning data.
