My vote goes to keeping it on one list. When I think of native fish I don't
exclude other freshwater animals. Most of us are interested in the entire
ecosystem and not just the animals with fins and back bones. BTW when I was a
kid the Poca River in W.Va. had some really huge mussels,-in-least 10" long
sometimes. I used to use them as bait on my trot lines. Gas well drilling up
stream pretty much caused their extinction when I was about 12 years old.
