Amen to that. Although the scale of these trees isn't apparent when you
are there because everything is huge. When you are in a forest of 200
ft. sugar pines, Ponderosa pine, and lodgepole, a 300 ft. Giant Sequoia
doesn't look *that* huge. I wish I could see one in someone's front yard
in L.A. Imagine a tree with a diameter as large as most suburban yards
and reaching 30 stories into the sky.
