You'd think that a species like a pleco that eats algae would be benign
wouldn't you? Not if you put them in a stream with fishes that may rely
on algae in their diet
That is why I want to see if we could come up with as predictive model that
would help guide releases based on something besides fishing. Plecos were
indeed a surprise to me but I think it can safely be said they are the exception
rather than the rule.
