hum...
these rs newts and the ones ive collected and kept in the past did not have
exposed gills... feathery appendages coming from their heads. thus they must
in all likelyhood be adults.
i will keep you posted on their status. in this particular setup they only
place they can climb out to would be water lettuce or exposed java fern
depending on the water level. the other tank was a 32 w/ an exposed cave type
structure i had built that they could crawl out and onto.
i will chop some earthworms up this weekend and hope to see some feeding.
