hey bruce...
describe the habitat that best produced the most healthist and abundant
flamers.
were they-in-the spring head? lush w/ vegatation? silt free? gravel? spring
runs? creeks? flowing pools? sunlight or shady. they gotta be a picky fish.

i have tried to keep my eye out for them in my wanders... and have only seen
them once w/ dave nelly while snorkeling and a single flame on a tn cold
creek flow. im still unsure about mixing them up w/ creek chubbs so i may
overlook them on other occasions. i do remember gold spangles on their sides... but
ive never witnessed the intense flame orange reds.
