No, there is not two different types of carbon, however there are different
things that combine with carbon. The "organics are not just carbon atom
swimming around. Obviously there are other atoms and molecules combining to
form the organics is what I am saying. I agree that the 10Ks are too blue,
at least for a freshwater tank, but the point that I was trying to make is
that the yellower the bulb, the more it is going to enhance the organics in
the tank. More yellow spectrum to bounce off the goblygook in the water.

I think we got to this point because I was suggesting that your yellow color
was exacerbated by the 55K's because of the yellow orange spike. Maybe I
didn't explain myself well enough or maybe we just disagree, whichever is
fine. Let's get on to fun stuff again ;)

For all the rest of you out there who actually followed this thread, let
this be a lesson and don't get into reef aquariums, unless you are a glutton
for punishment ;))
