I have heard about a reproducing caiman population near Miami.

Moontanman at aol.com wrote:I can see a six foot alligator being killed by a python, but six foot isn't
really what I would call a large alligator, especially in Florida. That same
python would have been dinner for an eight to ten footer and a twelve footer or
larger probably eats any python he comes across. Alligators are know to eat
snakes regularly, even the big diamondback rattlers. It's unlikely that python
are going to become major predators of alligators. That being said, pythons are
obviously exotics and need to be killed whenever found. Has any one heard any
figures about other exotic predators like caimans or anaconda's being
released into the glades?
