Really interesting! I'll have to look that one up this weekend.

The saffrons came from Parks Creek at SR 53 just north of Manchester. Pat
Ceas seemed to think they'd have a much wider distribution in these streams,
but we only ran across them here. And they were the one species of darter
that we found in "darter habitat" lol. We seined so many little riffles on
the Barrens to find a big fat NOTHING lol. I probably should write that
whole thing up.

The phenacobius is a stargazing minnow. Also got to see riffle minnows on
this trip with Bruce over in the Sipsey.

Yeah, that's why I went with "said". I have developed quite a reputation
concerning getting people all excited about seeing the ellusive "Snot Otter"
(hellbender) and not coming through :)
