This hoop net is such a great idea I had Memphis Net & Twine make
me one. They offer a "shad scoop" in various diameters. I had
them make one with 1/8" mesh for an extra $10. I should be getting
it in the mail in the next couple of days. Now, if only I can talk
them into donating a couple of these to the convention...

My son made one of these hoops out of a discarded dipnet.
Unforunately he didn't tie the throw line securely, and the net
disappeared in 6 feet of muddy water the first time he used it!
