I think we should bring the Chinese river dolphin to NA and release them in
the Mississippi River. The Chinese seem determined to eradicate this rare
species and the Mississippi River would provide a similar habitat. Also we
should bring the Chinese dwarf alligator to NA. Maybe the Ohio River Valley.
Similar habitat and again we would be saving a species that is doomed in it's
native land. I don't think either of these species would have an extreme
impact on the environment one way or another and we would be saving two
unique species. Go ahead and flame me, rolls off like water on a ducks back!
maybe it's time to make extreme decisions to save doomed wildlife. Until we
can build enclosed habitats in space to preserve and allow colonization, the
Earth and its environments are in jeopardy and making the only acceptable way
to preserve species is to preserve habitats is going to fail in a great many
cases.
