Ah ...those are Aponogeton horticultural hybrids.
Ulvaceous is wonderful plant, the hybrids are less so
but easier to grow and reproduce. Unlike sea monkeys,
hybrid ulvaceous do not like salt in their water and
we don't hatch them in our house, though petting them
and talking to them helps.

You can also play Beethoven's Ode to Joy...I hear that
helps.
