Yeah. It really bites. I have two valves of Wabash Pigtoes that I picked
up years ago before having become 'enlightened'. I'm not really sure what
to do with them, but I should probably send them off the landfill. But that
doesn't make any sense either. <sigh>

I did locate a huge population of Asiatic Clams at a local DNR site. I
wonder if that would be legal... I'll have to ask someone, maybe that could
suit your need? No promises tho, since the Ohio law says "Clams, Mussels
and Mussel Shells" and they may be illegal to send cross state anyway since
they're invasive exotics. But... They didn't specifically say "Clam Shells"
;)
