I was considering mainly protein, but as far as nutrition goes, we are
looking at a small, mainly insect eating fish(such as a livebearer,
characin, minnow etc.)

Thanks for the heads up on the brine shrimp. The way the fish eat it, you
would think it must be quite healthy...lol
