Which is more healthy:
Tofu Surprise
German Chocolate Forest Cake

Which one would you rather have? :)

Fish work much the way people do. We're programmed to look for calories --
not nutrition. In a wild circumstance, it's not going to be the amount of
protein you get that'll make the difference as to whether or not you survive
the winter. Chances are, you can find plenty of protein anyhow, and will do
so just to survive (remember, most wild organisms, including early man,
lived at a near starvation state.) However, if you managed to get a little
extra bit of calories, maybe you could build up a higher amount of fat on
you, and survive a period of no food. Calories help you survive. Calories
are what you burn when the peacock bass (or lion, or hawk, or whatever,
depending on your species) comes at you and you need to run .... Kind of
counter intuitive, but evolution has favoured those of us with bad eating
habits -- there's no advantage of being a vegan-granola when food's limited,
but there is an advantage to scarfing down those extra sweet, high calorie
fruits.
