In our case, we have no library so all of our research is done on the
computer or in public libraries. I encourage students to use the available
university libraries as well. I usually require a minimum of six references
per paper and three must be from books or journals and not from the
internet. The biggest problem is convencing them that something removed from
the internet will not do as their final paper! I have had several student
submit papers with the website still enscribed across the bottom of the
paper!
As more and more journals become available over the net, I forsee libraries
becoming a thing of the past. How sad!
