Shireen -- I worked at a wildlife rehabilitation facility for a summer (HOWL) and
they had recipes for feeding everything from seals, to squirrels, to birds of
every kind. I am sure that aquariums have recipes. If you are in for a super cool
big project, it might be interesting to approach known institutions in a joint
fundraising deal. There might be the problems of "do they want the public to have
recipes," but it can be countered with a "do you think someone who doesn't care
about fish would want to cook for them" argument. It might give visibility and
credibility to have a mix of "shared" recipes and maybe an "expert" at a facility
could "review" recipes to make sure they do no harm. The worst scenario is that
facilities say "no" or that you learn a whole lot! Just a thought from a person
NOT doing it. I think this is a super cool idea. Have one of the "authors" be a
speaker at the next big NANFA expo to promote and add humor to the gig! katrina
