To Jan and others who have previously mentioned Pennak's "Freshwater
Invertebrates of the United States"-

I would like to buy a copy of this book, but am confused by the way in
which some of the later editions seem to include only certain groups,
awaiting further volumes which would complete the coverage of the various
families not already covered (i.e. the 3rd ed. and possibly the 2nd).

What I'm really trying to get at is, what edition(s) covered all families?

I realize the ideal would be to buy the in print edition and wait for the
next volume to come out, but I don't have $110 to spend on the first volume
alone. Hopefully someday I will.

Thanks for your help.

Respects,

waiting for hotmail to load and putting up with it being down half the time.)
