Thanks Moon. I have been trying to get the shop open for a couple of years now and
things finally came together.

Yes, I will be carrying natives. I am working now to get captive bred supplies of
several natives. It has been surprising, I have had many requests for fish that
can be kept in an unheated/room temp tank. Until I get some natives in my answer
is always the same, Bettas, Guppies and a few other hardy tropicals. Most are not
very interesting or colorful. In addition, I have had several people express a
direct interest in natives. Primarily Sunfish, Bass and the like. As we are all
aware those are not really appropriate for the average home aquarium, so I have
had very few options for them. If I can get some appropriate natives, I think
there will definitely be an interest in them. Right now I am looking at Orange
Spotted, Dollar, Black Banded and Blue Spotted Sunfish, Northern and Southern Red
Bellied Dace, Various Darters, and others. The hardest part is finding captive
bred fish. I don't want to support taking of these fish from the water for
commercial purposes.
