If you're concerned about a little vinegar or muratic acid fouling things,
wash the tank down with a dilute solution of baking soda as that will
neutralize any residual acid. I'd acid wash until everything was clean,
follow that up with a rinsing or two with tap water, followed by a final
rinse of dilute baking soda.
