I have a pair of dollar sunfish I collected from my recent trip to Arkansas
that I've been medicating with tetracyclene generously sent to me by Mark
Binkley at Jonah's Aquarium. One fish has one open sore at the front part of its
dorsal fin, the other has a pair of open sores along the top half of its body.
Anyhow, I have been treating them with tetracyclene every other day for over
a week now and the good news is that they're still alive. But the bad news is
that neither appears any closer to healing. Any suggestions? If they were
pumpkinseeds, I'd dip them in salt water as that's worked for me in the past.
But I just don't think dollars are as hardy in that way.
