Well, I believe that to hide your address is like having an unlisted
telephone number -- it eliminates half of the reason for having an email address or
telephone. That is, for people to communicate with you. So, we get some crank
calls, telemarketers and Spam. Communication is essential to a society and that
includes incoming as well as outgoing messages. I still get spam on a seldom
used, never publicized email address. So I delete it.
