The National Water Monitoring "Day" period ended Sunday. If any of you
participated in the volunteer water quality (and fish) data gathering
effort, please remember to report your data here:
http://yocwdata.forumone.com/. You can enter data only until 15 Nov.

After you do that, please drop me a few lines (hooverj_at_wes.army.mil) about
your field trips: who attended, what kind of habitats you sampled, data you
obtained, and fishes that you saw. Anecdotes (humorous and otherwise) would
be very much appreciated as would a few representative photos. Please put
YOCW in the subject field (and not NANFA).

I know that efforts were planned or completed in Michigan, Ohio, Arkansas,
and a few other states. You can read about the Mississippi Chapter trip at
the regional outreach page or by clicking here:
http://www.nanfa.org/NANFAregions/miss/monitoring_day/monitoring_day.htm

Based on response, I will try to write up a little article for the website
or AC.

Thanks.
