I missed the middle of this discussion. In Michigan round gobies are
illegal to posses. I would have thought this was the same in other states.
I have heard that they are now the most common fish in the great lakes. At
the Hocking Hills convention in Ohio back in 2001 there was a speaker that
stated they had already eliminated greenside darters and sculpins in lake
Erie. This is one scary fish what would happen to darters if it gets loose
in Tenn. or Alabama. Why would you want to mess with something this
controversial?
