Yes I am in Ccookeville. As my schedule for sampling along with working on other project unfolds I would love to host a trip out here. I don't know how much of a host I could be other than showing around the facilities, which I am still learning where and what they are myself, since I havent been in any water around here yet either. I finally got my student ID though so I am off to buy my license, I just got my new and improved TN permit too so I'll be off scouting this area next week probably. If sampling is hectic and jam packed it could get pushed to September though, hopefully not. Just got back from the Little T in NC in Bryson City looking for mussels and redhorses. Saw my first Gilt, Greenfin, and Wounded Darter as well as Sicklefin Redhorse today. Another professor does alot of work with the Barrens Topminnow here too, and another with the Spotfin Chub which I'm sure would be of interest to many regional NANFA'ns. It's a thought definately on my mind though....

Prizma-in-aol.com your in cookeville i do believe. you know... you should host a trip in your area... an area i have not visited but a few times tho many times to the east of you in big south fork. many of us would like to see the fishtanks, mussel lab, etc-in-the university. it would make a great destination and a bonus would be to visit the university's facility. summer is good a good time. get down this way and you will see plenty of redlines as well as a mulitude of others... and then you got the conasauga for a whole new plate.
