That sounds like what I call "nitrate depression". It's about the only =
thing that will make a green sunfish not eat :)

Have you done any water changes recently? That's the first thing I =
would do. Perhaps you have a test kit or a local shop that will do it =
for you for free. But if you don't do monthly exhanges, I'd start now.

If you have an undergravel, I'd get a lot of the crap under it out =
(actually I'd remove it but that's a whole long story) and do a couple =
25% water changes (this is removing and replacing, not topping off =
evaporation) every 3 days for the next week. =20

freeze-dried brine shrimp and tubifex. Before it would eat lots of these =
