Unless there is a compelling reason not to, I would get one now while the
opportunity exists. You'll have that many more months to enjoy and learn
about a very unusual fish.

Be sure to check out Chris Scharpf's excellent article "In Nature and in the
Aquarium - The American Eel, Anguilla rostrata" that appeared in the March
2001 issue of Tropical Fish Hobbyist. If you do not have access to a copy, I
will mail you a photocopy.
