The problem is, the snakehead is here to stay and there is very little
anyone can do about it. You can't shock the whole Potomac and every creek
that drains into it all at once. You can't poison it, the Potomac is a
major public water supply. How many fixes for this problem are there that
aren't worse than the problem itself? In time the only way to control it
may be commercial harvesting!

We may need to develop a taste for this fish just to keep it under control!
Maybe we can start harvesting and exporting them to get some of that trade
surplus back.

I just wonder how much salt they can tolerate and what effect they will have
on the bay. I don't need something else screwing around with my fresh
oysters!
