I think this list does need concerned fish heads whose blood boils when
habitat is destroyed -- or better, who keep up and know when habitat is
threatened, then take action to prevent damage. ESA is a tool that
provides some means of acting. So, Michael, keep speaking out, even
when the rest of us might not agree with your particular take or
expresson of things. If you hadn't spoken up, how would you have
gotten so much good information from so many list members, like Jan and
Chris? BTW, ESA just may not address the particular things you have
observed, where the wetland was bulldozed for construction. But there
are other protections, and we can use those also, when they apply.
