Earlier this month, I was asked for help identifying a fish being eaten by a
Great Blue Heron. I turned to the lists for help and passed the information
on. Later I confirmed to the BOMC list owners certain fish details using
Peterson's and Audubon's guides to FW fish. Yesterday they asked for the
NANFA website so that our organization could get credit. I was just informed
that credit is already online.

The main page is here: Birds of
Madison County http://www.fruitjar.org/birds/
The picture of the bird eating the fish and the link to our credit is about
2/3 down.

Or you may go directly to the page at: <A

Waterfowl and Fish http://www.fruitjar.org/birds/misc.html

Thanks to everyone for their help, particularly Moontanman who was the first
to ID the fish.

Chris: this might be worth mentioning in "American Currents". If you choose
to do so, it would be nice to send a couple copies to the list owners. It
seems natural that Audubon Society and NANFA would cross over in interests
and goals.

Nice site to look over one way or another. Also, the big fish kill that
wiped out 50 miles of fish in White River about 13 months ago originated in
Madison County. Good news to see what appears to be a healthy migrant fish.
